In my spare time I truly enjoy hanging out with friends and reading. My friends help to make me feel better at any time if I am down and help to raise my spirits. Friends are the pieces of the puzzle of life. They help to make you sane in a crazy world and I do not know what I would do without them. We do not like to do anything special, just hanging out, watch movies, go out to eat, grab a few drinks, etc. I also enjoy reading when I want to wind down. This is very relaxing for me and as long as the book topic catches me, I will finish the book in record time.

American values
Tis article explains basic “American values” and thoughts about healthcare reform and how we standout almost worldwide as a country who denies healthcare coverage to a proportion of its population. There are three types of choice in health care, first is preferred physician, second is freedom to choose healthcare plan and third is deciding on whatever tests and treatments you might want as patient. Majority of Americans in recent year’s favor a government guaranteed health insurance which should be looked at as “Medicare for all”. This new system of healthcare should be run by medical experts and members of the community so they decide on what works and what does not and how we can budget our healthcare dollars to achieve the best possible healthcare outcome. In conclusion, there are hard choices to be made in this new healthcare system and not everyone will be happy and sacrifices will have to be made but it will be a major step in the right direction to help the majority of American becoming insured and feel protected and safe.
Project Runway

I fell in love with Project Runway the first year it came on. I originally thought it would be kind of lame but now I don’t miss an episode. I love to see all the creativity that the designers have and sometimes can’t believe that they can think something they create is so great when I think it’s awful. My husband and I try to guess who the winner of a challenge will be but are usually wrong. I suppose since we shop at “normal” stores we don’t know what high fashion is. I am okay with that. I have to laugh that my husband is also a fan of the show. I don’t think he would tell anyone at work. So since it is Thursday I know we will be watching Project Runway tonight.
God save our productivity, the NFL season returns!

If you’re anything like me, you were ecstatic over the start of the NFL season this weekend. Of course, if you were like me, you also realized that the NFL season means the end of productivity. Whether you are a dejected Bengals fan (sorry fellas, that Orton TD WAS a fluke) or a pissed off Bears fan (ahem, like me,) you can be assured that you won’t be thinking about work or school on any day of the week. From this point on, Football becomes a part of our lives. Is the injury of Brian Urlacher going to be a huge impact on the Bears defense? Will Jay Cutler stop messing around and throw TDs instead of interceptions? These are the questions that arise during football weekend, and you can be assured that they won’t be answered until the next game. And let’s not even get started on fantasy football. Here’s a little heart to heart from a fantasy football player to another player (ignore if you’re not, because you’re sure to laugh at the rest of us): We’re due to do even less work than the regular football fan. Admit it, we spent this week fumbling over lineups and watching games of teams we don’t even like just so we could root for our particular RB to run for over 100 yards and get a touchdown. We spent this week tracking our stats and points, and we’ll probably spend the whole week “researching” for next week. Yup, our productivity is gone. But who cares? It’s football!!!
